As soon as you walk in the door, you realize that Martha Manor is different from the average assisted living facility.
It is not an institution, but a home, where the residents each have a private room, but interact with each other in the common living room, parlor and dining room. The most important role of a good facility is not how new the building is, but how good the care is.
At Martha Manor the employees really care about the residents. This is evident in the little things that are done above and beyond what is expected. Most residents improve dramatically after living at Martha Manor for a short time.
In 2008 Martha Manor was recognized by the Ohio Department of Aging for its high satisfaction level in a national survey of residential care facilities. The Manor placed second in all 297 facilities surveyed in the state.
Space is available for day care, short-term or long-term residency status. In 2009 we opened our doors to men, as well as women.
